Twenty-two years of asking one question: "can this be simpler?"
I started my first technology company in India in 2004, then worked with technology teams in Bangalore on systems built for real commercial pressure. Long before “digital transformation” was a slide deck, I was the person who could not leave a clunky process alone — I would take the problem apart, find its simpler shape, and build the fix.
The early work crossed booking and marketing platforms, a UK job portal, e-commerce, and classified systems. In 2007, that included Zoglo.com, a UAE classified platform built in the same emerging category as Dubizzle and recognised with awards in the region.
That instinct became a career, then three companies. At Element8, the AI-first agency I co-founded, most of what's on the shelf today — the platforms, the automation, the growth engineering — started life as a solution I designed for one client's very specific problem, then made repeatable.
I've shipped e-commerce for retailers, apps for enterprises, growth systems for challenger brands, and private AI platforms for organisations that can't send their data elsewhere. Across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with teams I built myself.
The tools changed every five years. The job never did: listen carefully, simplify ruthlessly, automate everything that doesn't need a human.
"Most businesses don't have a technology problem. They have a tangled problem — and technology is how you untangle it at scale." — the thesis, since 2004
